I have to confess foodies…..I’ve had ramen once or twice in my lifetime.
I was never really a fan of the taste. My friends and family growing up all enjoyed it, but I could not get paste the saltiness. More recently, I ran across this article from Buzzfeed. 21 Ways To Upgrade Your Instant Ramen .
I figured it if I was going to try ramen again, why not make it delicious! After going through the article, I went with a rotisserie chicken ramen with boiled eggs. If you’re looking for a way to dress up your ramen, try this out!
3 ramen packs
5 cups of chicken stock
2 cups of water
One bunch of green onions
Bring 5 cups of chicken stock to a boil then add water.
Add ramen seasoning. I added in a little garlic salt and onion powder
Add chopped green onions and let broth cook for 2-3 min.
Add in your 3 packs of ramen. Cook until tender.
In a separate pot, boil your eggs.
Slice 4-6 to pieces of rotisserie chicken.
Once ramen is cooked, add to bowl.
Place slices of chicken and boiled eggs on top — Enjoy!
